FES stands for Fabrication & Engineering Services. The company grew up in the fire service, building apparatus for people whose equipment has to work. That is still who we are.
The Name
From FES Fire to FES
FES has historically operated as FES Fire, building and servicing fire apparatus. Over years of that work, the company developed engineering and fabrication capabilities that reach beyond any single product.
FES Fire became FES Fabrication & Engineering Services because the capabilities developed through building fire apparatus can solve a broader range of engineering and fabrication challenges. The name expanded. The commitment did not.
Fire apparatus remains the core of FES work today and will remain central to the company. We are not leaving the fire service. We are bringing what it taught us to more of the people who need it.

Apparatus work demanded serious capabilities: aluminum fabrication, body construction, storage systems, electrical integration, and practical engineering. Those capabilities apply to far more than fire trucks.

The new FES identity recognizes broader capabilities while honoring the work, people, and apparatus that established the company. Fire apparatus remains the majority of FES production, with fabrication, engineering, and specialty vehicle work growing alongside it.
